Keto and low-carb diet-friendly, these chicken thighs are a great weeknight meal option that goes from kitchen to table in less than 30 minutes.

How Long Should I Bake Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs In The Oven
Bake them at 425F for 20-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
The best way to see if the chicken is done is to test the temperature with a kitchen thermometer. Insert the thermometer into the thickest part of the meat without going all the way through. The temperature should read 165F.

The Best Baked Chicken Thighs
I used to be a white meat girl. Wouldnt touch a thigh or a drumstick with a 10-foot pole they were always so greasy. I finally realized that when properly seasoned and properly cooked, oven-baked boneless chicken thighs are tender, juicy, and not at all greasy.
After that, all bets were off and it was dark meat for days! I use my all-purpose seasoning blend and it adds a ton of flavor without overpowering the flavor of the meat. A little bit of olive oil keeps the chicken from drying out and helps the seasoning adhere to the meat.
I prefer roasting chicken thighs in the oven, but you can cook them on the stovetop if you want. It takes about 7-9 minutes per side, but its a lot messier with more grease splatter than baking.

What Temperature To Bake Chicken Thighs
I recommend baking chicken thighs at 450 degrees F, because the high temperature will make the skin super crispy and the inside juicy. You can also bake them at 400 or 425 degrees F, but it will take longer.
I actually dont recommend oven baked chicken thighs at lower temperatures like 350, or even 375. Not only does it take longer, but in my testing the meat was less tender and the skin less crispy.

How To Make Old Fashioned Baked Chicken Thighs In The Oven
First, place all of the ingredients except for the chicken stock and parsley in a Ziploc bag. Stir everything together really well with a spoon so all of thechicken thighs are covered with the marinade.
Allow the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for at least one hour or up to eight hours. The chicken will come out nice and juicy.
Next, preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Preheat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Place the chickenthighs on the preheated skillet and sear on both sides until golden brown.
Pour the stock over the chicken thighs in the pan, then stir the mixture all together with a wooden spoon to release all of the browned pieces of chicken on the bottom of the pan.
Transfer the skillet to thepreheated oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes until an internal temperature reads 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Once the chicken thighs have fully cooked, remove them from the oven and top with freshly chopped parsley and lemon wedges.

How To Get Crispy Chicken Skinless Thighs:
While boneless skinless chicken thighs dont have skin to get that yummy crisp, they can still turn out crispy!
To do so, use the High Broil setting on your oven to broil them for 3 to 8 minutes, or until they are crispy. Be sure to place them on a shelf that is near the top, but not all the way at the top. I go with the third shelf down.
Keep a close watch on the thighs, as the high broil setting is very hot and it is easy for food to burn when left unattended.
And thats it! Everything you need to know about making mouth-watering delicious oven baked boneless chicken thighs!

How To Reduce Fat Content
Dark meat chicken gets a bad rap for fat content, but it can still be super healthy for you and part of a well-rounded diet. If you want to reduce the amount of fat with chicken thighs, first of all, you will want to use boneless, skinless chicken thighs. Use the instructions listed below.
However, you can go even further by using a wire rack so any extra fat from the chicken drains from the rack onto the baking sheet. You can employ this method with either boneless or bone-in chicken thighs.

I can serve them paired with a dip in a pinch or toss them with some olive oil, salt, and pepper and pop them in the oven with the chicken for an easy roasted veggie side.
- Toss a simple salad Ive found that the key to getting my kids to eat more greens is to add a generous serving of fruit to our salads. Grapes, strawberries, mandarin oranges, and blueberries always go over well, and they taste great drizzled with a simple vinaigrette.

How Long Do I Roast Boneless Chicken Thighs
Since we are using boneless, skinless chicken thighs you only need to bake them for about 12-14 minutes. You will bake the chicken thighs at 425° F.
Before removing them from the oven, always make sure to check the internal temperature of the thickest part of the thickest thigh. Once it reaches 165° F, the thighs are ready to be taken out of the oven. I always use my meat thermometer to make sure the thighs have reached a safe temperature.

TIP: Run your hands under the chicken skin to separate it from the chicken underneath, so that you can easily spread the compound butter.
TIP: Use a meat thermometer to check that the chicken thighs are done. The internal temperature should be 165 degrees F.
Compound Butter Underneath The Skin:
Butter underneath the chicken skin ensures super juicy chicken thighs and adds loads of flavor, while the skin protects the butter and fresh herbs from the high heat of the oven.
- Butter I prefer grass-fed butter for nutrition and flavor, but you can use any unsalted butter.
- Garlic Use whole garlic cloves, because we are going to crush them.
- Fresh Herbs I used fresh parsley and dill. You can experiment with other fresh herbs see variations in my compound butter recipe post.
