Delta Blues Hot Tamales Is Moving To Pelham
Fans of Delta Blues Hot Tamales were so sad when they closed up shop in Cobb Lane. We made a mental note to find out where theyd be reappearing, and now we know.
On June 4, they announced on Facebook that theyve singed a new lease and hope to be open in their new home in early July.
One of the coolest things about Delta Blues Hot Tamales is how attentive they are to people with allergies. From their website:

“This place was awesome! The food was delicious! I had the rib plate with fried okra and potatoe salad, and the ribs were tender with an awesome BBQ sauce. The side were exceptionally tasty as well. My son had the BBQ chicken and said it was equally delicious. My wife had fried chicken and thought it was some of the best she has tried. Our 5 year even ate all of his food and didn’t complain, The staff were all friendly and helpful when discussing the menu. We can’t wait to go back and try some different menu items and specials!”
The Original Hot Dog Factorys Coming To Center Point: Whats On The Menu
A few specifics:
- Turkey, chicken + veggie dogs which are all gluten free
- For a charge, you can substitute Polish sausage, chicken or a veggie dog
Hot dogs offerings include All-Americans, BLT with bacon-wrapped dog, Jamaican jerk chicken dogs, San Francisco veggie dogs and more.
Factory dogs are in the $3.99-$7.99 range and combos range from $6.25-$10.99.
The menu also includes salads, wings, loaded fries, burgers, kids meals and more.

Opening one day next week!
Proud to announce Da Rib and Chicken Shack, our newest restaurant coming to Gardendale! Ribs, chicken, BBQ, Wings, burgers and lots of vegetables. They will be located in the old Bentos building on 31 Highway between Southern Market and Standard Furniture. Theyve done a great job renovating the building and it looks awesome.
Robert Horn is the owner. You may know him from the other businesses in town that he owns and operates, affordable Lawn Service and 605 Custom Detail Shop along with a concrete finishing company.
Ive know Robert for several months now. He is absolutely one of the hardest working men I have ever met and a Godly man. Help me welcome Robert and his family to Gardendale!

If you want good chicken, this is the place to get it. Their specialty is good southern fried chicken but they offer it cooked other ways as well.
Biggest chicken tenders and wings I’ve ever eaten! Nice calm atmosphere and friendly staff! Kind of weird hours, but highly recommended if you’re passing through!
It’s fairly new and not on a main road. It is however one of the best fried chicken joints in the country. The have several fishes from burgers to rib tips but nothing matches the chicken they have a salad bar but my attention is only on the chicken. Owners and staff are extremely friendly fine people, great place to eat they see me every Friday n will continue to do so. I have yet to have better fried chicken in SC.

The Original Hot Dog Factory first opened its doors in 2010 in Smyrna, Georgia .
When it opened in Atlanta, things started heating up for the hot dog chain when serial entrepreneur Dennis McKinley took it over. Right now, across the East Coast, there are more than 20 locations, and theyre growing.
According to The Trussville Tribune, Alabamas first location will be Center Point. A second locations scheduled to open in Anniston in August. If youre wondering where theyll be, look for the old Rallys restaurants.
